MAN 315 - Building Strategic Partnerships for Small Business Growth This course will equip students with the skills and knowledge to build and manage strategic partnerships for small business growth in rural communities. Students will learn how to identify potential partners, negotiate partnership agreements, and manage ongoing relationships for mutual benefit and growth. They will also learn about best practices for effective communication, conflict resolution, and building trust and collaboration with partners from different backgrounds and cultures. The course will cover topics such as partnership strategy, partner identification, negotiation and contract management, performance evaluation, and legal and ethical considerations. Through practical exercises and case studies, students will develop the skills to create long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships that contribute to the growth and sustainability of small businesses and the local economy.
Prerequisites: Junior standing or permission of instructor.
