ENG 111 - Composition & Presentation II This course develops the skills introduced in ENG 101 to provide practice with the ways that people in academic and professional settings write, read, think, and present ideas orally. The focus is on the research process, information literacy, and oral presentation skills. The importance of purpose, audience, use of supporting material, vocal variety, clear articulation, and correct use of grammar, pronunciation, as well as nonverbal behavior that supports the verbal message will be emphasized. The use of citation management and interlibrary loan tools are introduced and employed. There will be a continued focus on collaboration, providing and utilizing constructive feedback, accessing campus resources, and practicing effective learning strategies. This course is required after the student completes ENG 101.
