SOC 315 - Environmental Sociology Analysis of causes and impacts of and societal responses to environmental problems, with attention to institutional arrangements, social inequalities, and collective action. Introduction to theoretical perspectives and research approaches in the subfield of environmental sociology. Investigation of how environmental sociology can inform public understanding and environmental policy and activism.
