ARH 461 - Nineteenth-Century Art Research Seminar Focus on topics selected by instructor in the area of nineteenth-century art and visual culture. Sample topics include the Enlightenment, Neoclassicism and Romanticism; Manet, Modernity, and Modern Art; and Impressionism and Postimpressionism. Students develop projects related to the topic and workshop their research and writing with peers in the seminar. May be repeated for credit.
