CHE 477 - Elements of Chemical Engineering Design Introduction to chemical engineering economics and process design. Considers principles of design, capital cost and operating cost estimating techniques as well as principles of engineering economics involving time value of money, taxes, depreciation, profitability metrics, alternative investment comparisons and process optimization.
