ERS 301 - Earth and Climate Science Geomatics This course will provide an introduction to the collection, display, manipulation and management of geospatial information. The focus will be on modern tools, techniques and methodologies commonly used by earth and environmental scientists. The course will be divided into surveying and mapping (including GPS), satellite remote sensing, and geographical information systems (GIS). Lec. 2.5 hr, Lab 3hr.

Prerequisites: Any ERS 100 level course or SMS 108 and MAT 111 or a score of 30 or higher on the Math Placement Exam or permission of instructors.
