MAT 103 - Elementary Algebraic Models in Our World An introduction to the applications of algebra with a focus on data analysis and model building. Topics include graphs, algebraic equations and functions. Primary attention will be given to using linear, quadratic and exponential functions to represent and interpret real world applications. If MAT 103M was taken at UMM, credit cannot be earned for this course.
