ECE 414 - Feedback Control Systems Analysis and design of continuous control systems using transfer function and state variable system representations. Covers signal flow graphs and Mason’s gain formula, decomposition of transfer functions, controllability and observability, root locus techniques, Routh-Hurwitz criterion, Nyquist criterion, controller design in time and frequency domains, State feedback, phase lead and lag controllers, PID type controllers.
