CSD 130 - Introduction to Communication Sciences and Disorders A survey of disorders of speech, language, hearing and swallowing with particular attention to the lived experiences of people with communication impairment as representative of human biological/neurological, linguistic and cultural diversity. Emphasis on exploring the nature of communication impairments and differences across communities (e.g., individuals with autism, Deaf or hard of hearing) and the lifespan.
