MGT 220 - The Legal Environment of Business An examination of fundamental legal concepts and their application to the business community. Considers the evolution of law and its underlying conceptual framework from which legal rules and principles of business develop. Selected legal cases will be critically analyzed and discussed.
Core Curriculum/Core Requirements: Social Contexts and Institutions and Ethics Requirements. Must be taken in series with MGT 449 to meet Ethics requirement. Neither course alone fulfills the requirement.
