BMB 420 - Infectious Disease Examines medically important bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites causing human infection. Introduces major classes of pathogens and host immunity to microbes. Covers pathogenesis, virulence factors, clinical symptoms, transmission, epidemiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment for individual microbes.
