BMB 300 - General Microbiology A basic biology course dealing with general principles as illustrated by microorganisms, in bacteria and viruses. Covers cell structure, cell metabolism, genetics, geochemical activities, and host-parasite relations. Lec 3.
Core Curriculum/Core Requirements:
Prerequisites: 1 year of biology that includes BIO 100 or BMB 150 or HON 150 and either BIO 200, BMB 155 or HON 155, BIO 208 or BMB 280 and 1 year of chemistry that includes BMB 207, 208, 209 and 210 or CHY 121, 122, 123 and 124.
