ECO 240 - Maine Economy An in-depth analysis of the Maine economy, including its history, socio-economic trends, influential institutions, economic performance, aging demographics and the labor force, environmental impact, food security, international trade, and the distribution of income. Maine’s economic strengths and opportunities along with its weaknesses and threats will also be explored. Lastly, a comprehensive review of past and current State level economic growth and development strategies will be presented and analyzed for their achievements and shortcomings.
