LAS 104 - Career, Character, and Happiness This course is designed to give you the tools to make informed decisions about your educational and career goals. In part one, philosophical and psychological perspectives on happiness are explored. Students are encouraged to develop a reflective sense of what a good life means for them as individuals. They will also gain an understanding of how career satisfaction and happiness are related. In part two, using tools designed for self-assessment, reflective writing, and discussion, students will identify their strengths, values, interests, and skills. They will also consider how social-environmental factors influence their choices and opportunities. In part three, students will make informed decisions about their educational and career goals. They will locate and evaluate material and relevant information about the careers that interest them.
