PHY 469 - Quantum and Atomic Physics Basic principles of quantum mechanics. Exploration of canonical systems and the postulates of quantum mechanics using Dirac, vector-matrix, and wavefunction notations. Analysis of spin, energy, position, and momentum eigenstates, both time independent and time dependent, for several bound and scattering state systems.
