PHY 100 - Introduction to Physics and Astronomy Introduces first-year physics and engineering physics students to the professions and opportunities in physics, engineering physics, and astronomy, including departmental faculty, research opportunities, and facilities. In addition to discipline specific information, the course will introduce students to departmental, college, and university resources that will help them succeed in their education.

Prerequisites: First-year standing within the BA or BS in Physics or the BS in Engineering Physics or permission.
