MUS 104 - Music in Film: 20th Century & Beyond An Interdisciplinary Fine Arts course designed to introduce students to the wide scope of music supporting one hundred years of film (1915-2015). The goal is a deepened musical literacy within the context of the film medium. The scope includes music already recognized by the student but not known (i.e. The Shining, 2001: A space Odyssey) to music by contemporary artists (i.e. Trent Reznor, Beck) to the great tradition of orchestral film composers like Bernard Hermann and James Horner.
