HTY 301 - Maine and Local History A chronological survey of Maine’s economic, cultural, and political life from prehistory to the present. Themes include the impact of national developments on Maine, the role of location and physical environment in shaping life here, and sources of internal tension and division. Independent research on local history is a major component of the course.
Prerequisites: HTY 115 or HTY 116, or permission of instructor.
