JST 203 - Jewish History and Culture I: The Middle Ages to 1750 This course surveys the major developments in Jewish history and thought from the Middle Ages until 1750. Throughout the course, Jews will be considered both as a culture and as a civilization. The overlapping, yet different, experiences of Jewish men and women will be discussed.
General Education Requirements: Course satisfies the Cultural Diversity of International Perspectives General Education requirement.
