CAN 101 - Introduction to Canadian Studies Acquaints students with varied aspects of the Canadian experience: society, culture, history, native peoples, environment, education, technology, economy and diplomacy. Participating faculty include Canadian-American Center staff, visiting scholars from Canada and the United States, and faculty members from UM Colleges. Course includes an optional field trip to Canada.
General Education Requirements: Satisfies the General Education Western Cultural Tradition and Cultural Diversity and International Perspectives Requirements.
Prerequisites: First-year student or sophomore standing.
