OVERVIEW OF DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum number of credits required to graduate: 120

Minimum Cumulative GPA required to graduate: 2.0


Our Business and Entrepreneurial Studies program emphasizes professional skills and entrepreneurial talents.  Entrepreneurship infuses and inspires the curriculum, from introductory business and marketing courses through capstone courses in entrepreneurship and real world experience.

Successful entrepreneurs are innovators, dreamers and doers.  They are prudent risk takers and persistent and focused problem solvers.  Our program seeks to encourage and develop entrepreneurs and an entrepreneurial culture.

Every Business & Entrepreneurial Studies student completes four introductory courses (12 credit hours) in business, marketing and psychology or sociology, as well as 11 professional courses in accounting, business, economics, management and psychology (33 credit hours).  Each student then chooses one of two nine-credit options in either Small Business & Entrepreneurship or Non-Profit Organization Management.

The Business & Entrepreneurial Studies program provides students technical excellence and entrepreneurial spirit in a small-college atmosphere.

Program Requirements - 54 cr


In addition to the major requirements, students must complete the University Core Requirements  and electives to meet 120 credits. Note that some Core requirements may be met by certain Business & Entrepreneurial Studies requirements. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 120 credits and achieve a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00.
