General Requirements:
- Demonstration of reading and writing proficiency.
- Demonstration of comprehensive coverage of literature and civilization
through successful completion of appropriate course work.
Special Requirements:
- 24 credits beyond the intermediate level.
- CLA 102 Latin Literature in English Translation.
- LAT 247/248 Latin Prose Composition and Stylistics I/II should be taken in
the junior year or earlier.
- 18 credits in two or more related disciplines in Liberal Arts and
Sciences, including other languages and courses in translation offered by the
department.
- If pursuing Classical Studies should take 6 credits in Greek and CLA 101
Greek Literature in English translation and CLA 102 Latin Literature in
English Translation
