General Requirements:
- Demonstration of listening comprehension, oral, reading, and writing
proficiency (students who have not received at least a “B” in FRE 305 or 306,
GER 205 or 206, or SPA 206 may be required to take a test in language
skills).
- Demonstration of comprehensive coverage of literature and civilization
through successful completion of appropriate course work.
Special Requirements:
- A minimum of 30 credits beyond the intermediate level, representing a
combination of a Romance language and German.
- A minimum of 12 credits above the intermediate level must be taken in each
of the two languages and at least 18 credits must be in 400 series of courses,
including MLC 499 Senior Project.
