2003-2004 Undergraduate Catalog [ARCHIVED CATALOG]

2003-2004 Undergraduate Catalog

Welcome to the University of Maine’s undergraduate electronic catalog for the 2003-2004 academic year.

We’ve updated our online catalog. In addition to the keyword search at left, we’d like to tell you about some other new features designed to enhance your experience…

New Tools

Whether you are a prospective student or enrolled at UMaine, you’ll find we’ve provided you with a powerful set of tools to help you quickly locate and track details for undergraduate programs and courses that are important to you. You also will find links at left to all the other useful information that is contained in the print version  of our academic catalog.

We think you’ll find using this catalog to be easy and enjoyable. Instructions to browse, register, and start creating your own “Portfolio” are readily available and easy to follow. This new catalog will allow you greater creativity and control in putting together course lists, or entire programs of study - and in keeping track of them, anytime, anywhere.

Bear Paws

They’re smart links to special information designed to help you learn more about what UMaine has to offer. They may link to digital presentations, photos, or even to departmental websites. Try clicking on this one to view a message from University President Peter S. Hoff. (Bear Paws may require plug-ins  and take longer to download over low-speed dial-up connections.)

My Portfolio

Click to track program and course information that is important to you. Register your own password to save the list, then return later and start where you left off. Look throughout the catalog for links to add programs and courses to your personal Portfolio. Retrieve your saved preferences using the My Portfolio link in the navigation bar to the left of this screen
