SMS 350 - Semester by the Sea Undergraduate Seminar

This course includes literature review of topics selected from current marine research. The emphasis will be on synthesizing this research in relation to courses offered as part of Semester by the Sea (SBS) to provide an overall appreciation of SBS within the context of the field of marine science. Other topics covered typically include jobs and graduate programs within the field, faculty research and other guest speakers.

Course may be taken for a total of four completions and four credits.

Prerequisites: Junior or senior standing and department permission
