EMA 405 - Methods for Teaching Mathematics in the Secondary School

This is a three (3) credit-hour course for prospective secondary mathematics teachers. The course focuses on methods of mathematics teaching and the knowledge of mathematics secondary teachers need to develop an effective teaching practice. EMA 405 and EMA 505 cannot both be taken for credit.

Prerequisites: Teacher Candidacy status, EHD 204, SED 302, Calculus 1 or permission only.

Corequisites: EHD 400
