ECE 271 - Microcontroller Systems and Interfacing This course introduces modern microcontroller systems, emphasizing hardware structure and software programming for device control. Topics include data representation, CPU and memory organization, assembly and C programming, interrupts, DMA, timers, ADC/DAC, digital I/O, and serial communication. Hands-on labs enable students to interface microcontrollers with sensors,
displays, and motors to create practical embedded applications.
