POS 378 - Theories of War and Peace This course is the study of the causes and effects of the major events of conflict and cooperation which occur among and across countries. The major theme is understanding patterns of war and peace through an examination of foreign policy decision-making, international trade and investment, economic development, human rights, global environmental concerns, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, globalization, and international organizations and institutions.
Prerequisites: POS 120 or INA 101 or Permission
