Introduction to image processing techniques and their applications including image generation, sampling and quantization; thresholding, binary images, gray level images, pseudo-color, coding techniques; image processing mathematics, two dimensional discrete Fourier transform, convolution and correlation, image transforms; masking, image smoothing, image sharpening, high-pass and low-pass filters, histogram and image enhancement.
