Students wishing to pursue the MBA


Students applying for admission to the MBA program in their fifth year should take:

Economics: (18 credits, at least 9 of which must be taken at UMaine)


Students must obtain a minimum 2.0 grade point average in ECO courses taken pursuant to requirements of the minor.

Public Management: 18 credits


Public Policy : 18 Credits


 

Elective Courses


Students draw elective courses from a combination of two groups for a total of nine credit hours: (1) policy-oriented courses from the list below and (2) the student’s primary interest area.

(2) Primary Interest Area:


One or two elective courses may come from the student’s primary area of interest, which is typically the student’s major field of study. The choice is made in consultation with an adviser. When practical, one course assignment should be adaptable to feature a public policy perspective.
