BMB 402 - Introduction to Bioinformatics A multidisciplinary study of fundamental biological questions through the organization, integration and analysis of increasingly large and complex datasets. Topics include primary data repositories, data integration and curation, sequence analysis methods, functional annotation, high-throughput sequence analysis workflows, statistical analysis of gene expression data, clustering methods and modeling biological networks. BMB 402 and BMB 502 cannot both be taken for credit.
