SVT 437 - Practical GPS Presentation of all types of GNSS equipment with their uses and limitations, GNSS observation planning based on satellite geometry and obstructions, review of geodetic coordinate systems and datums, the geoid and how it relates to the production of elevations from GNSS, execution of all components (planning, field collection, downloading, processing, and adjustment) of a GNSS survey where raw data is collected or real time kinematic (RTK) GNSS vectors are processed in a network adjustment for control work, use of RTK GNSS in collection of a topographic survey.

Prerequisites: SVT 341 or equivalent.
