MSL 302 - Training Applied Leadership in Small Unit Operations Focuses on applied leadership in small unit operations. It is an academically challenging course where the commissioned student will study, practice, and apply the fundamentals of direct level leadership and small unit tactics at the platoon level. At the conclusion of the course, the commissioned students will be capable of planning, coordinating, navigating, motivating and leading a platoon in the execution of a mission. This course includes a lab per week using peer facilitation overseen by MSL IV’s, supervised by ROTC Cadre. Successful completion of this course will help prepare the commissioned student for the Cadet Summer Training Advance Camp they will attend during the summer at Fort, Knox, KY.
