FAS 101 - Introduction to the French cultures of North America Introduces students to the French cultures of the United States, emphasizing the peoples of Maine and the Northeast region. Examines the French cultures of Canada, the French heritage cultures of the Northeast and the new French speaking migrants to Maine. Taught in English; no knowledge of the French language is presumed.
