WGS 250 - Women and Music Explores the contributions and roles of women as composers, performers, teachers, conductors and patrons in Western Art music, non-Western art music and popular music. A wide spectrum of musical compositions by women in various styles will be studied, through recordings and live performances.
General Education Requirements: Satisfies the General Education Artistic and Creative Expression, and Cultural Diversity and International Perspectives Requirements.
Prerequisites: WGS 101 or permission.
