SED 545 - Intervention for Reading Difficulties Explores strategies for adapting reading instruction for students with reading difficulties. Topics include theoretical explanations of reading difficulties, multi-tiered systems of support, research-based approaches to intervention, and procedures for evaluating response to interventions. Addresses the needs of students with high- and low-incidence disabilities as well as students at risk.
Prerequisites: SED 302 or SED 402 or SED 500 or Permission.
