MAT 101 - The Nature and Language of Mathematics An opportunity for non-science majors to broaden their understanding of mathematics and to examine the connections between mathematics and other areas of human understanding. Specific topics may vary from semester to semester and are chosen to provide students with the opportunity to explore, through inquiry and discovery, the development, structure, and application of mathematical systems.
