EET 424 - Introduction to Electromechanical Systems

Topics include: classical analysis and simulation of control systems, utilizing Laplace transforms. Modeling of dynamic electromechanical systems; transfer functions; and block diagrams. Transient analysis of first and second order systems. PID control actions; stability; and steady state errors. Modeling of system behavior using simulation software. A design project is required.
