The minor in Entomology is designed for students who would like to develop a basic understanding of entomology and is particularly useful for students of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, forensics, anthropology, wildlife ecology, or premedical studies.
Students must complete a minimum of 12 credits for this minor with courses that are not otherwise used to fulfill a requirement for their major, another minor, or a concentration.
Students will need to take either BIO 100 or PSE 100 or SFR 101 as a prerequisite for the entomology minor.
The minor is not open to students majoring in Biology, Zoology, or Botany. These students can elect the entomology concentration within their major.
