OVERVIEW OF DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum number of credits required to graduate: 120 (30 within major)
Minimum Cumulative GPA required to graduate: 2.0
Minimum Grade requirements for courses to count toward major: None.

General Requirements:
- Demonstration of listening comprehension, oral, reading, and writing proficiency (students who have not received at least a “B” in FRE 305 or 306, or SPA 305 or 306 and GER 305 or 306 may be required to take a test in language skills).
- Demonstration of comprehensive coverage of literature and civilization through successful completion of appropriate course work.
Special Requirements:
- A minimum of 30 credits beyond the intermediate level, representing a combination of a Romance language and German.
- A minimum of 12 credits above the intermediate level must be taken in each of the two languages and at least 18 credits must be in 400 series of courses, including FRE 495 or GER 495 or SPA 495 Senior Project.
