CRJ 302 - Race and Crime This course examines race, crime, and criminal justice in the United States. Topics will include racial/ethnic differences in criminal behavior, in victimization, and in criminal justice involvement. A major focus of the course will concern the issue of possible racial bias in the operation of the criminal justice system and the criminal justice system’s disparate impact on people of color.
Prerequisites: SOC 101 and CRJ 114 and CRJ 214
