KPE 396 - Outdoor Leadership Field Experience Students in this course will experience first-hand outdoor leadership opportunities in immersive, field-based settings led by expert faculty. Course content will focus on practical outdoor leadership skills in diverse environments and settings, including the back-country. Working with community partners, students will have the opportunity to practice their outdoor leadership skills in the field in authentic programmatic settings. Overnight travel and outdoor activity participation is required. The exact activities covered will depend on the season the course is offered. This course is typically offered as a two-week intensive and there is a course fee. This course is for students in the Outdoor Leadership Minor or concentration.
