KPE 286 - Introduction to Outdoor Leadership and Facilitation This course focuses on the study and practice of outdoor leadership theory, styles, and techniques applied to education and recreation settings. It is designed to be an introduction to outdoor leadership and facilitation skills, and to create a foundation of knowledge to be built upon in future coursework. Course content will include outdoor leadership theories and applications; individual leadership abilities and assessment; and group development, communication, and decision making.
Prerequisites: Outdoor Leadership minor or concentration or permission
