ERS 200 - Earth Systems A survey of dynamic topics in earth sciences, emphasizing active participation in on-going faculty research in topics such as: global climate change, changing sea levels, geochemical cycles, plate tectonics and mountain building, and the geological evolution of the northern Appalachians. Multiple field trips; at least one a weekend. Lec 3, Lab 3.
General Education Requirements: Writing Intensive and Lab in the Basic or Applied Sciences
Prerequisites: Any 100-level UMaine Earth Sciences course.
