MKT 270 - Marketing Introduces students to the concepts, analyses, and activities that comprise marketing strategy and tactics, and provides practice in assessing and solving strategic and tactical problems in marketing. The course is a foundation for advanced courses in marketing. Topics include: marketing strategy (segmentation, targeting and positioning), market environmental analysis, consumer behavior, marketing research, product management, pricing, marketing communications, and channels of distribution.
Prerequisites: Business, Economics or Financial Economic Major or Declared Business and/or Marketing Minor and Sophomore Standing
