ANT 480 - Andean Prehistory Prehistoric archaeology of the Andean region of western South America from the first arrival of people to the Spanish Conquest. Changing lifeways as Andean peoples adapted to and with new and changing environments and technologies. Origin and development of complex society in the region, culminating with the Inca Empire.
