POS 364 - Practicum in Engaged Policy Studies I Focuses upon the critical application of analytical research skills to a community policy issue. Examines different conceptions of community engagement and the university’s role in serving the community. Culminates with design of an engaged research project, with a community-based organization or policy outlet serving as a research partner. Designed to be taken as the initial course in a two-course sequence prior to POS 365, Practicum in Engaged Policy Studies II, which will be offered the following semester.
Satisfies the General Education Writing Intensive Requirement
