ECO 381 - Sustainable Development Principles and Policy The principles of sustainable development are investigated and considered against a number of ethical and philosophical concepts. Possible ecological, economic and social criteria for evaluating development proposals against those principles are surveyed. Selected issues relevant to Maine are evaluated by sustainable development criteria.
Satisfies the General Education Population and the Environment and Ethics Requirements.
Prerequisites: Sophomore standing.
