OVERVIEW OF DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum number of credits required to graduate: 60

Minimum Cumulative GPA required to graduate: 2.0

Students completing the Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies may complete optional concentrations in Allied Health, Marine Biology, Mental Health & Rehabilitation, Music, Psychology or Visual Arts.

To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 60 credits and achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.

Students completing the Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies can complete one of the following seven optional concentrations:

Allied Health
Aquaculture
Marine Biology
Mental Health & Rehabilitation
Music
Psychology
Visual Arts

Core Requirements

Artistic & Creative Expression - 4-6 credits

At least 4 credits from two different disciplines, one class must be studio/performance.

- Score at least 530 on SAT MSS exam or at least 21 on ACT math exam. (no credit is awarded, but the requirement is satisfied)
- Score 50 or better on CLEP College Mathematics or College Algebra exam taken after 7/1/2001 or 500 or better on the same exam taken before that date.
