Considers the chemical, physical and biological properties of soil, as well as the origin, management and interrelationships of soils to plant growth.  Rec 3.

General Education Requirements: Together with 141 this course satisfies the Gen Ed Lab in Basic or Applied Sciences

Prerequisites: BMB 207 or CHY 121 is recommended.
